Extend Data Storage Area on DBaaS

Today , I would like to show how to scale up for storage area . Sometimes need to expand our storage area hence you can do it with a few steps .

1.Please select machine which is needed to the machine disk.

2.Please select symbol at right side .

3.Please select Scale Up/Down

4.Please select Add Storage to “Extend Data Storage Volume” or “Extend Backup Storage Volume”

Connecting DBaaS with WinSCP

As known that all of DBaaS machines work  and Oracle DBA need to move data from on-premise to cloud .Hence , WinSCP is needed .Today , I would like to show this structure .

1.Start WinSCP and write Host name…

2. Please click advance ..

3.Please select Authentication section and select private key .

4. Finally , select Login .

Consequently , with afew clicks data can be moved with WinSCP  .

Oracle Cloud Trial Quota

DBaaS Trial is given by Oracle ,  All DBAs can take easily over Oracle page (Please take look link).However, sometimes it is required to increase quota at trial cloud service .  How to understand this issue ?

Let’s take a look at, what’s happening when the quota is exceeded .

1.Appears on page up about Quota limit …

2.As it seems, disk space is full …

3.Check it out over metering service on compute service .

4.In addition to check resource section related the quota .

Finally , delete unnecessary machinery and continue to use …

New Compute Shape at Oracle Public Cloud Database

Everyone needs to be the subject  that is compute shape mechanism . Cpu ram rate varies according to workload therefore Cpu/Ram can be changed elastically .Today I would like to tell how to change properly compute shape …
